San Francisco International (SFO) and San Jose (SJC) both serve the Bay Area. Levi's Stadium sits in Santa Clara, 45 minutes south of San Francisco and 10 minutes north of downtown San Jose. Caltrain from SF to Mountain View plus a VTA light rail transfer reaches the stadium — plan 60 minutes if coming from SF.
Base in San Francisco for the tourist experience (SoMa, Mission, Nob Hill); base in San Jose or Santa Clara for match proximity; or base in Palo Alto/Mountain View for a tech-corridor middle ground. BART from SF to Millbrae then Caltrain to Mountain View is the public transit path.
Watch parties fill SF's Mission District and the Castro; in San Jose, the SoFA District is the hipster pick. Signature food: the Mission burrito at La Taqueria, a Dim Sum brunch in Chinatown, and whatever the pop-up of the month is in SoMa. Local quirk: nobody in the Bay Area calls it "San Fran" or "Frisco" — it's "the City" from Marin to Berkeley, "SF" in writing, and never anything else.

Bay Area June and July are mild — highs in the upper 70s°F in Santa Clara (warmer than San Francisco, which hits the 60s°F all summer due to fog). Low rain, low humidity. Stadium conditions are close to ideal.
