What's on the Printable Bracket?
The 2026 FIFA World Cup is the first tournament with 48 teams — up from 32 in 2022. The bracket structure is completely new, so older printable brackets won't work. Here is what you'll see on the page.
12 groups of 4 teams
Groups A through L, each with 4 teams. The top 2 from every group advance automatically (24 teams). The 8 best third-placed teams also qualify — giving 32 teams in the knockout stage. The pre-filled bracket variant shows official group compositions from the December 2025 FIFA draw.
Round of 32 (16 matches)
The first knockout round. FIFA Annex C pairing rules determine the matchups: group winners face third-placed teams, runners-up face runners-up from other groups. The blank bracket leaves slots empty so you can write in your own predictions after the group stage ends on June 27, 2026.
Round of 16 through the Final (15 matches)
Standard single-elimination from the Round of 16 onward. Write in match winners as the tournament progresses. The bracket includes space for quarterfinals (4 matches), semifinals (2 matches), the third-place playoff, and the Final on July 19, 2026 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
31 total knockout matches
That is 31 lines to fill in — one for each knockout match winner. In a bracket pool, each correct pick earns points. Common scoring: 1 point per correct Round of 32 pick, 2 points per R16, 4 per Quarterfinal, 8 per Semifinal, and 16 for the correct champion. See our bracket challenge guide for full scoring templates.
Printing Tips for the Best Results
The exported bracket is a high-resolution PNG captured at 2× pixel density — sharp enough for both screen sharing and physical printing. A few tips to get the best output.
| Setting | Recommended | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Paper size | US Letter or A4 | Both fit without cropping |
| Orientation | Landscape | Bracket is wider than tall |
| Scale | Fit to page | Browser print dialog → "Fit to page" |
| Color | Color preferred, B&W works | Flags show as emoji; mono uses placeholders |
| Poster size | A2 or 18 × 24 in | Sharp at 150 DPI for wall display |
For watch parties and office walls, print at A2 or 18 × 24 inch poster size. The 2× pixel-density export stays crisp at this scale when generated from a desktop browser. Most office supply stores and online print shops (FedEx, Staples, Vistaprint) accept PNG files for poster printing — expect to pay $3–8 per poster.
