We built the World Cup bracket we wanted to use.
An independent, free, and private-by-default bracket predictor for the first ever 48-team World Cup — in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
To make the 2026 FIFA World Cup fun, social, and data-driven for every fan — in any language, on any device, for free.
Why Bracket 2026 Exists
The 2026 World Cup isn't just another tournament. It's the biggest format change in 28 years: 48 teams, 12 groups, 104 matches, 3 host nations spread across the United States, Canada, and Mexico. For the first time, third-placed teams can advance. The Round of 32 is brand new. The path to the trophy has never been more complicated — or more interesting.
We looked at every major bracket tool out there — ESPN's, FIFA's placeholder, a dozen indie sites — and none of them really got the 48-team format. Most were old 32-team templates with extra slots patched in. Others were English-only, assuming the whole planet speaks one language. Almost none had a way to challenge your friends or share your pick beyond a screenshot that broke on every messaging app.
So we built the tool we wanted to use.
Bracket 2026 is the first bracket predictor built from scratch for the 48-team format. It works on your phone. It speaks your language. It lets you challenge your office, your group chat, or the whole planet. And it will always be free to use.
Meet the Creator
Hi, I'm the founder.I'm an independent developer and lifelong football fan. I've built and shipped a handful of SEO-first indie products, and I've been filling in World Cup brackets on paper since 2006 — back when England still thought they might win one.
I built Bracket 2026 because I was frustrated that no existing tool could show me the full 48-team picture in a way that felt alive. I wanted something I could share with my friends in Brazil, my cousins in Mexico, and my coworkers in the US — in their own language, without asking anyone to sign up for anything.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are you affiliated with FIFA?
No. Bracket 2026 is an independent project. We reference team names, tournament dates, and venues as factual public information. No FIFA trademarks, logos, mascots, or proprietary assets are used.
Why is it free?
Because a World Cup bracket is something that should bring people together, not cost them money. We cover our costs through non-intrusive display ads (served by Google AdSense) and optional rewarded video for HD bracket exports.
Can I advertise on your site?
Yes. During the tournament window (May–July 2026) we accept a limited number of sponsorships and direct ad placements. Reach out via the contact page.
Do you have an API?
Not a public one yet. We are open to partnerships with media outlets and educational sites. Reach out with a brief description of what you want to build.
How do you make money?
Non-intrusive display ads (AdSense), optional rewarded video in exchange for HD bracket exports, and affiliate links for travel and ticketing in host cities where locally legal. No data sales, no sponsored picks.
Can I contribute?
Absolutely. You can help by translating content into additional languages, filing bug reports, suggesting features, or sharing the tool with your friends. If you would like to contribute code, drop us a line via the contact page.
Questions? Ideas? Bugs?
We read every email. Usually reply within 48 hours during the tournament window.
