メキシコが3度目のW杯を開催する。世界で唯一3大会を開催したエスタディオ・アステカで6月11日に開幕戦を迎える。サッカーが日常に溶け込み、代表チームが文化的統合の力であるこの国にとって、1986年以来最大のスポーツの舞台だ。同時に最大のプレッシャーでもある。
